Ugly Child is a photography atelier founded by Luciano Ratto, Mack Greene and Marcellus Bonow-Manier. We aim to dismantle the financial barriers that traditionally limit access to fine art collections. To achieve this goal, we've developed the Fragment system-an innovative approach to making fine art photography accessible. Fragments are bi-monthly curated collections delivered directly to collectors. Each Fragment features three distinct photographers and contains six museum-quality prints (two from each artist), accompanied by artist biographies and provenance documentation. To enhance the collector experience, we provide a museum-quality archival binder designed to organize and preserve your growing collection. Since all prints maintain consistent formatting, collectors can easily create a rotating gallery within their homes, refreshing their displayed artwork every two months as new Fragments arrive. This system allows us to offer exceptional photographic art at significantly reduced prices, making a meaningful collection possible for a broader audience.
